(Introduction)
Rafeeat Aliyu is a talented and prominent African writer. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from North Carolina State University. She received the Norwescon Scholarship to attend the Clarion West Workshop for science fiction and fantasy writers in 2018. Some of her works have been translated to Spanish and Japanese. She is also one of the Editors of one of our favorite Non-fiction “She called me woman”
(The Challenge)
The goal was to create a website that was simple, elegant, and concise, effectively communicating who Rafeeat Aliyu is and the accomplishments in her career. She wanted a minimalist design, with white as the dominant color, to reflect her personal aesthetic. Additionally, the project required a simple yet effective logo to represent her brand.
(Our Solution)
We embraced the Rafeeat’s vision by designing a clean, sophisticated website with a seamless user experience that quickly conveyed her professional achievements. Using white as the primary color, we crafted a minimalist design that aligned with her request. We also developed a simple, elegant logo to further establish her brand identity.
(Technical Integrations)
reCAPTCHA
To enhance security and protect the website from spam and malicious activities, we integrated reCAPTCHA into the contact forms and user registration processes. Thereby safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining the integrity of the website.
Newsletter
We Integrated Mailchimp’s effective newsletter sign-up form to capture leads, grow, and to enable Rafeeat stay in touch with her community of readers and supporters.
